Shipping Policy

Our prices do not include free shipping unless otherwise stated on our website.  We can ship items by common carrier to your location.  We receive discounted shipping rates from our freight and courier partners, and we are glad to provide you with a quote to ship your order.   You can arrange to pick up your order from one of our warehouses or arrange for your order to be shipped freight collect using the carrier or your choice.

In the unlikely event that excessive freight rates are charged or quoted by our couriers, you will be contacted before your order ships to notify you of any extra freight charges not charged at the time of order. At that time you can either approve or cancel your order if you wish.

All delivers are “curbside” only. This means that larger items (over 50 pounds) will be delivered outside of your building, and you are responsible for taking it inside and setting it up.  You can however contact us to arrange for inside delivery or appointment delivery at an additional cost.

Liftgate Service (power tailgate)

Since items shipped via freight carrier are typically bulky and heavy, you can request liftgate service to be included in your price to ship your order. A power tailgate safely unloads items over 50 pounds from the truck down to ground level if you do not have a loading dock or other means to load your item off the truck. Once the item is on the ground it is your responsibility to move the product inside.

Before the delivery driver leaves your location do the following:

Verify and Unpack everything but be sure to keep all of the original packaging materials. Do not throw out any packing material or pallets until you are sure everything is as ordered and not damaged in any way.

Inspect the entire piece of equipment and look for visible and/or concealed damage. All damage claims must be made with the carrier within 3 business days. Rodway Supply assumes no responsibility for damaged items after they leave our warehouse.

While the driver is present, note of all damage that you see on the delivery receipt/bill of lading.
Take pictures if you can.

Once you have checked over your shipment you have 3 options:

  1. NO damage – Accept the shipment and sign off.
  2. Slightly damaged – you are willing to accept the shipment, write down all the damage you see on the acceptance form or if the driver is using an electronic device have him sign a note on a piece of paper indicating the damages before he leaves. A damage claim will need to be initiated with the freight company.  Please contact our office and we will assist in that process.
  3. Unacceptable damage – refuse the shipment. Please make note of the damage and take photos. Contact us as soon as possible to start the return/replacement process.
